Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

To the Tomb Raider community,

Our recent patch on August 14, 2025 for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered contained unauthorized generative AI voiceover content. After an investigation, we discovered these changes were made by one of our external partners without our knowledge or approval, and unfortunately went unnoticed during our review process.

We addressed this issue, as quickly as possibly, by releasing a new update that removes all AI voiceover content, while retaining improvements made in the previous patch. We have also reviewed our internal and partner processes with an emphasis on implementing additional checks and policies to prevent this from happening again.

We sincerely apologize for this oversight and we thank Ms. Françoise Cadol and the Tomb Raider community for bringing this to our attention. We are dedicated to preserving the greatest games, making them playable and available to more people, while preserving all the art and craft of the people — creators, designers, actors, artists, animators, engineers, testers and more — that created them and made them great.
